it is so far away from “it works”:
* 64bit IE seems to be not supported (actually, I didn’t find a way to run it on w2k12 – citrix users will be happy)
* JRE is still required – if EMC started to write browser extensions why do not remove JRE dependency?
* UAC must be disabled
* now it is possible to hijack files from user’s filesystem
There is no need to disable the UAC. you just need to disable the Enhanced Protection Mode in IE and reset the security settings to medium and it will start working. This solution was developed primarily for the chrome and it works super smooth on chrome. Try it out. IE extensions are a joke and have a lot of restrictions.

Do not flatter yourself, you are just an idiot. There is no EP Mode in Windows x86 (check https://youtu.be/SEOheyFkxrw?t=179)
